The high viscosity and specific adhesive properties of StarLig lignosulfonates can be used as natural binders in the production of adhesives and resin products. By doing so, many synthetic products that are normally used in this sector can be replaced or supplemented with either calcium lignosulfonate, sodium lignosulfonate or magnesium lignosulfonate. Depending on the technical requirements, also high-end ammonium lignosulfonate or purified premium StarLig lignosulfonates can be applied. This gives a direct positive impulse to the process sustainability of our client’s production cycle.
In addition to the physical action, the characteristics of the functional groups of some StarLig lignosulfonates can effectively form a chemical bond with the resin.
