All-round back-office officer (part time)

LignoStar is looking for a part-time back-office officer who will support the team in general office management and in the financial administration of the company.

About the job The LignoStar team is looking for a detail-oriented, proactive back-office manager with affinity to  bookkeeping and accounting. You will primarily be responsible for accurate financial accounting (in VismaNet) and the ongoing improvement of the business administration process. In this role, you will work closely with our logistics partners, the sales department, and you will support management with various secretarial and organizational tasks. Further tasks consist of supporting the logistics planning team by assisting in the handling and administration of international roadtransports and overseas shipments. Your responsibilities are:

  • Handling the day-to-day financial administration
  • Financial controlling
  • Assisting in the inventory administration in various warehouses
  • Assisting in order administration 
  • Office management; maintaining contacts with various (office) service providers 
  • Assisting in the organization and settlement of international shipments and maintaining records containing allrelevant (customs) documents
  • Assisting management.

About you The ideal candidate will be a bi-lingual, adaptable and social team-player. You have at least a completed MBO educationlevel in a business economics and/or logistics and demonstrable work experience in a financial role. In addition, thefollowing characteristics apply to you:

  • Hands-on; a go-getter who sees what needs to be done and who enjoys performing many different tasks
  • Customer oriented
  • Detail orientated
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good language skills; fluent in English language (spoken and written)
  • Candidates with additional language skills in e.g. German, Spanish, Portuguese and/or French will be preferred
